Sofitel Melbourne is a five star hotel located within the Collins Place complex at the ‘Paris End’ of Collins Street. Bates Smart has been involved in the refurbishment of the exclusive hotel suites on Level 50 (the top level of the hotel), the Executive Club Lounge on Level 35, and the masterplan for the hotel’s main lobby and Sofi’s Bar on Level 1.

The Executive Club Lounge provides guests with breakfast, lunch, all day refreshments, canapés and 24 hour bar. Also available to the guests are 24 hour concierge and check in, business services, workstations, meeting room, quiet room and games room and shower facilities all without the need to leave the hotel. The Lounge has stunning views across Melbourne. The main focal point within the space is a 360 degree freestanding fire place. Simple, clean planning of the surrounding spaces, wall linings, furniture and lighting havebeen used to soften the space and user friendly facilities complement the main features.
