The Alfred Centre Stage 2

The $180 million Alfred Centre Stage 2 adds an additional four floors above Stage 1 and extends all floors to the south. The additional 18,000sqm provides area for tenants whose activities will be complementary to the site as a whole.
Bates Smart has worked with Bayside Health, The Burnet Institute, Monash University Medical School, La Trobe University Faculty of Health Sciences and the Baker Institute/IDI during the design development and construction phases.
The functional and operational needs for tenancies has included:

- specialist support facilities
- clinical research space
- flexible teaching spaces
- lecture theatre
- tutorial environments
