Whybin\TBWA required the refurbishment of the ground floor of their existing South Melbourne studios to accommodate the project team for a recently acquired international account.
The design brief called for opening up the floor to encourage team based collaboration and allow natural light from the courtyard and perimeter windows to permeate the space and create an open transparent environment.
To create a more casual studio environment that projects the nature of the business, the concrete slab was polished and the ceiling tiles removed exposing the concrete soffit and building services. The brief also called for the agencies branding / corporate identity colours to be used throughout the studio.
