Lucy Best

Lucy is a senior project architect educated at the University of Westminster, London. She worked as a project leader in the UK, notably on the Millennium Dome project in London, and has extensive architectural experience in the industry both locally and overseas.
On her emigration to Australia, Lucy shifted her focus to practice management and strategy, with a particular interest in business growth and development.
With Bates Smart, Lucy has shown herself to be a natural leader with significant business acumen, drawing on all aspects of her architectural and business management experience. She is decisive and astute in her dealings both externally and internally, taking on lead roles within the negotiation process. Lucy is keenly focussed on the development of efficiencies within the management process, and the forging of future strategic initiatives for the organisation which support good design.
